Dalmorton campground is closed from 2pm Sunday 16 June until 10am Monday 8 July 2024 to allow for roadworks and fencing repairs to be conducted.

Other planned events: Woody Head emergency stabilisation works
NPWS will be carrying out emergency stabilisation works on Woody Head Bay Beach and the adjacent rock wall from Monday 3 June to Friday 28 June 2024.
Works will involve seawall repair and beach nourishment, involving approximately 2,500 m³ of sand extracted and placed on Woody Bay Beach for initial beach nourishment and dune rebuilding. Rehabilitation works to Woody Head Bay will be ongoing once sand nourishment is complete. There will be no pedestrian access to Woody Bay Beach and the adjacent rock wall.
All other areas in Woody Head will remain open for use, including the boat ramp. There will be traffic control on Woody Head Road during this time. Please drive safely, slowly and follow all directions of NPWS staff, roadwork and closure area signs.
There will be some noise associated with the works, but only between 7am to 5pm, Monday to Friday. There will be no works over weekends.

NSW National Parks and Wildlife Service (NPWS) is conducting aerial and ground baiting programs. Aerial baiting is scheduled from Monday 10 June 2024 to Monday 17 June 2024. Ground baiting is scheduled from 10 June 2024 to Sunday 18 August 2024. The operation will use 1080 (sodium fluoroacetate) poison for the control of foxes and wild dogs.

The program is designed to minimise predator impacts on wildlife, especially threatened species, and to minimise impact of wild dogs on neighbouring stock.
Signs will be placed at the entry to the baiting location. Domestic pets are not permitted in NSW National Parks managed lands. Pets and working dogs may be affected (1080 is lethal to cats and dogs). Pets and working dogs must be restrained or muzzled in the vicinity and must not enter the baiting location. In the event of accidental poisoning seek immediate veterinary assistance.

Road and roadside vegetation maintenance works will be occurring on T-Ridge Road and around the Nymboida River Campground from Monday 20 May until Tuesday 28 May 2024, pending weather.

Moonee Creek (Sugar Mill Creek) Bridge is closed until further notice, due to damage from coastal erosion.

The bridge crossing provides access:
- To Reflections Holiday Park
- From Moonee south to Coffs Coast Regional Park, Green Bluff and Sapphire North.
Reflections Holiday Parks have closed the bridge until further notice, due to an engineering assessment deeming the bridge unsafe for pedestrians.
If you are planning to do the Solitary Islands coastal walk please reroute:
- West along Moonee Beach Road to the south-west corner of the shopping centre
- South along new concrete path on eastern side of Pacific Highway
- South onto southern end of North Solitary Drive
- East onto North Sapphire Road to the beach access at Beachstone Cafe
Green Bluff is alternatively accessible from the south via Rutile trail, off Ivory Circuit in North Sapphire.

Other planned events: Temporary closure of Boambee Creek Bridge during weekdays at southern end of Solitary Islands Coastal Walk
Please be aware that at the southern end of Solitary Islands Coastal Walk (SICW) there is temporary closure which impacts walker access between Boambee Beach and Boambee Headland.
The Boambee Creek Bridge footbridge will be closed Mon- Fri 6am-6pm until July 2024 (project finish date TBC).
It is recommended walkers attempt this section during weekends, during times which the pedestrian access bridge is open to the public.
Please be aware that Boambee Creek is several metres deep with a strong tidal flow to the ocean, so safe crossing requires using the bridge.
Alternatively, should you wish to pass during the closure window - please bypass Boambee Beach via town roads with adjacent concrete walking paths:
Southbound - from the Coffs Harbour Jetty - walk 1.6km west along Harbour Drive to Hogbin Dr roundabout, then 6.6km south down Hogbin Drive walking track to Sawtell Rd roundabout, then 1.3km east along Sawtell Road to Boambee Headland - continue south on SICW.
Northbound - from Boambee Headland - walk 1.3km west along Sawtell Road to Hogbin Dr roundabout, then 6.6km north along Hogbin Drive walking track to Harbour Dr roundabout and 1.6km east along Harbour Drive to the Coffs Harbour Jetty - continue north on SICW.
This project is outside of NSW National Parks and Wildlife Service managed lands, but this notice is to inform visitors that these works will affect the SICW walk route continuation further south of the Coffs Coast Regional Park.

Closed areas: Road closure
Some areas of this park are closed until further notice due to the demolition of a bridge from a past flooding event.
The closed areas include the 4WD access to North Washpool, an area also known as Washpool rest area, entering from Baryulgil onto Collum Collum Road. The bridge is washed away at the junction of Washpool Creek and Collum Collum Road.
Please note:
- Washpool National Park’s 2WD entrance off Gwydir Highway onto Coachwood Drive and Washpool Forest Way is open.
- Bellbird campground, Coombadjha campground and the Granites lookout and picnic areas are accessible.
