Closed areas: Warrabah campgrounds and picnic areas CLOSED
Some parts of Warrabah National Park are CLOSED from Wednesday 3 April to Tuesday 11 June 2024 while major roadworks is taking place. Access to the Park via Manilla will be closed at the Park boundary. The closed areas are:
- Warrabah campground and picnic area
- Boundary Hole picnic area
- Gum Hole campground and picnic area
- Billys Hole picnic area
This closure may be extended and any extension will be posted as soon as possible.

National Parks and Wildlife Service (NPWS) will commence a 1080 ground baiting program on the 1st April to 30th June 2024 on the following reserves:
- Boonoo Boonoo National Park
- Butterleaf State Conservation Area
- Little Llangothlin Nature Reserve
The operations will use meat baits containing 1080 (sodium fluoroacetate) poison for the control of wild dogs and foxes. Signs will be placed at the entry to all the baiting locations. Domestic pets are not permitted in NPWS managed lands. Pets and working dogs may be affected (1080 is lethal to cats and dogs). Pets and working dogs must be restrained or muzzled in the vicinity and must not enter the baiting locations. In the event of accidental poisoning seek immediate veterinary assistance.
