Closure extension to 23/12/24 due to prolonged wet weather - North Head Road within Brunswick Heads Nature Reserve is closed for road repair, drainage and maintenance works between Wednesday 27 November and Monday 23 December 2024 including during weekends due to prolonged wet weather and road conditions for vehicle safety and to preserve the road surface while works continue.

Essential roadworks will be undertaken to Manns Road and Middle Ridge Road from Monday 9 December to Friday 20 December 2024. Works will be undertaken on weekdays between the hours of 8:00 am to 3:30 pm. Heavy plant and machinery will be operating in the area. During these work hours access maybe restricted temporarily. Expect delays while the roadworks are underway. Drive safely and follow the directions of roadwork signs and traffic control staff. Nightcap Range Road will be closed for major landslip repairs from 16 September 2024 until 31 January 2025. During this time, the road will be closed in both directions between Rummery Road and Nightcap Ridge. Please be advised this closure may be extended.
Access to Rummery Park Campground and Minyon Falls will be via Minyon Falls Road only.

Closed areas: Toonumbar Forest Drive & Coxs Road Closure
Toonumbar Forest Drive and Coxs Road are closed until winter 2025. Estimated re-opening date is June following completion of maintenance works.
Both roads are not safely trafficable in wet conditions and are therefore seasonally closed from late spring until late autumn dependant on rainfall during the wet season. There may also be additional closures during forecast weather events and damage during the winter period.
This closure will affect the following areas:
- Murray Scrub Lookout
- Sherwood Lookout
Iron Pot Creek Campground and Murray Scrub Walking track can be accessed via Murray Scrub Road.

Access to Peacock Creek Campground is currently restricted to 4WD vehicles.
Large potholes and significant damage on Peacock Creek Road and Sextonville Road, make them unsuitable for 2WD vehicles, caravans, or camper trailers.
Alternative Access (2WD): Visitors are advised to use Cambridge Plateau Forest Drive fro 2WD access, noting it is dry weather only.
Alternative Access (AWD/off road capable caravans & trailers): Visitors are advised to use Iron Pot Creek Road for 4WD, AWD and caravans/trailers that are off road capable.

Remediation works have now begun until early January 2025 to fix a landslip as a result of Flood 22 event in Mt Jerusalem NP. Area's effected include:
