Closed parks: Closed campgrounds and day use areas due to severe weather predicted

Campgrounds, day use areas and walking tracks in Richmond Range National Park are closed from Tuesday 4 March to Wednesday 12 March. 

This closure is in place due to the potentially dangerous weather conditions associated with the impact of Tropical Cyclone Alfred. Penalties apply for non-compliance.

Remember, it’s never safe to drive, ride or walk through flood waters. Roads into and throughout the park are also be closed. Check Live Traffic NSW for up-to-date information and contact the Kyogle NPWS office on 02 6632 0000 or email npws.richmondriver@environment.nsw.gov.au
