The 4-day Gidjuum Gulganyi Walk will open in early 2025. It links Mount Jerusalem National Park and Nightcap National Park, near Mullumbimby on the NSW North Coast.
Some sections of the track are open now for you to enjoy as day walks. We've also opened 2 walk-in campgrounds so adventurous campers can experience what the full multi-day walk will offer in 2025.
Explore smaller sections of the Gidjuum Gulganyi Walk on a day walk. These highlights will give you a taste of the track sections on day 1, day 3 and day 4.
This remote loop walk through rainforest is a green cathedral. Do the full loop or take your time and book an overnight stay.

Stay at Yelgun Kyoomgun campground
Meander through World Heritage-listed Gondwana rainforest and enjoy a secluded camping experience with magnificent views over Wanganui Gorge. To reach Weeun Weeun campground it's a 5.5km walk along Byan Yangala loop walk.
Camp under a canopy of ancient New England blackbutt eucalypt forest. To reach Yelgun Kyoomgun campground it's a 7.3km mostly uphill walk along Historic Nightcap walking track. A great challenge for experienced bushwalkers.
