Wongarbon Nature Reserve
Overview
Wongarbon Nature Reserve was created in September 1965. It covers an area of 99ha. View the detailed park and fire management documents.
Mugga iron bark-narrow leafed iron bark and grey box dominate on low nutrient and rocky soils. River red gum grows on alluvial areas in the nature reserve. Blakely's red gum and white box are also present in the Reserve, which is a very small remnant of the woodlands which previously dominated the area.
These maps give a basic overview of park attractions and facilities, and may not be detailed enough for some activities. We recommend that you buy a topographic map before you go exploring.
