Mutawintji Nature Reserve was created in September 1998. It covers an area of 6688ha. View the detailed park and fire management documents.
Mutawintji Nature Reserve was established primarily for the conservation and protection of the yellow-footed rock-wallaby through the identification and control of threats. Access to the reserve is only allowed under permit for management, research and other purposes consistent with the protection of the yellow-footed rock wallaby.
These maps give a basic overview of park attractions and facilities, and may not be detailed enough for some activities. We recommend that you buy a topographic map before you go exploring.
