Overview

Little Broughton Island Nature Reserve was created in May 1961. It covers an area of 36ha. View the detailed park and fire management documents.

Little Broughton Island Nature Reserve is located off the eastern coast of Broughton Island.  The 36 hectare island reserve was created in May 1961, and provides important habitat for seabirds, particularly wedge tailed shearwaters. There is no public access to Little Broughton Island.
