Closed areas: Warrimoo track closure
Warrimoo track in Ku-ring-gai Chase National Park will be closed for essential maintenance from Monday 28 April until Monday 12 May 2025. There will be no access to Bobbin Head or the Marina from Warrimoo track. There is a diversion in place to the Bobbin Head track for access to Bobbin Head precinct.

The Bobbin Inn Cafe will be closed from Monday 28 April to Wednesday 30 April 2025 for minor renovation works.

Burralow Creek campground and picnic area will be closed from 28 April to 15 May 2025 for upgrade works to Bulcamatta Falls walking track.
The following connecting fire trails will also be closed:

- Burralow fire trail

Closed areas: Berowra walking track partial closure
Berowra walking track is partially closed from Apple Tree Bay to the Mt-Ku-ring-gai access track until further notice. There is a threat of rockfalls due to slope instability caused by recent weather events. NPWS is in the process of carrying out necessary repair works.
The Berowra walking track from Berowra Station to Mt Ku-ring-gai is open for use.

Closed areas: Road closures in Lane Cove National Park
Lane Cove Depot Road and part of Max Allen Road will be closed from 31 March 2025 to 15 September 2025 due to essential geotechnical works. Weather events may extend these works.
The following areas will be closed to ALL pedestrians, cyclists and vehicles:
- Lane Cove Depot Road will have no public access.
- Max Allen Road will have no public access beyond Lane Cove Cafe and Office.

Closed areas: Area closed for ground shooting for feral animal control
Some areas in Wollemi National Park and Comleroy Flora Reserve will be closed between 4:00pm and 6:00am, from Monday 28 April 2025 to Friday 30 May 2025 inclusive, for a feral deer management program.
This program is part of our ongoing efforts to reduce the significant impact of deer on native plants and animals, including threatened species.
- The control method will involve use of firearms by qualified and experienced contractors and staff.
- Closures will not apply on weekends or public holidays during this period.

Fire bans: Kanangra Reserves
A park fire ban is in place in this park and remains in effect unless otherwise extended or removed.
However Wombeyan Caves campground in Wombeyan Karst Conservation Reserve is exempt.
During park fire ban periods, all campfire and solid fuel (wood, heat beads, charcoal, briquettes, hexamine) barbecues and stoves are prohibited. Gas and electric barbecues and cookers are permitted as long as:
- They're under direct control of an adult
- The ground within 2m of the barbecue is cleared of all flammable materials
- There's an adequate supply of water (minimum of a bucket)
If a Total Fire Ban is in place, different rules apply. Contact the local park office before bringing a gas or electric barbecue or cooker.

NSW National Parks and Wildlife Service (NPWS) is conducting an ongoing ground baiting program from Thursday 2 May 2024 to Monday 5 May 2025 in the following areas:
- Abercrombie River National Park
- Abercrombie River State Conservation Area
- Kanangra-Boyd National Park
- Blue Mountains National Park (southern section)
- Wollemi National Park (Wolga)
- Gardens of Stone National Park
- Jenolan Karst Conservation Area
- Turon National Park
- Marrangaroo National Park
The operation will use 1080 (sodium fluoroacetate) poison for the control of wild dogs and foxes.
The program is designed to minimise predator impacts on wildlife, especially threatened species, and to minimise impact of wild dogs on neighbouring stock.
Signs will be placed at the entry to the baiting location. Domestic pets are not permitted in NSW National Parks managed lands. Pets and working dogs may be affected (1080 is lethal to cats and dogs). Pets and working dogs must be restrained or muzzled in the vicinity and must not enter the baiting location. In the event of accidental poisoning seek immediate veterinary assistance.
