Closed parks: National Parks closed due to ex-tropical cyclone Alfred
For safety, some national parks and reserves on the North Coast are closed until Monday 7 April due to damage caused by Ex-Tropical Cyclone Alfred. Areas will be opened once inspections, and any necessary works, are completed. Public access roads through parks will not be affected by park closures.

Closed parks: Park closed for aerial pest control operation
Carrai National Park and State Conservation Area are closed from Tuesday 25 March to Friday 28 March 2025 for an aerial pest control operation.
No entry is permitted to the park or waterways during this time. Penalties apply for non-compliance.
