Our Pilliga tag-a-long tour offers a rare opportunity to experience the Pilliga’s hidden gems in the company of an expert guide.

As we travel along remote dirt roads and hidden tracks, you’ll uncover some of the best kept secrets of the Pilliga area. We’ll explore historic brumby trapping yards and a handmade cobblestone road that stands as a testament to the area's rich history.

We’ll also learn about Aboriginal culture in this area and how the land has shaped the stories of both the Gamilaraay People and European settlers.

Throughout the journey, our Discovery ranger will share their deep knowledge of the local plants and animals in this diverse ecosystem. Enjoy the sights and sounds of this unique wilderness while spotting native wildlife in their natural habitat.

Because this tour takes you off the beaten path, you’ll need a 4WD or 2WD high-clearance vehicle to navigate the rugged terrain.

Bring your lunch, water, hat and sunscreen.
