Head over to Merimbula Lake Boardwalk, near Bournda National Park, for fun in the wetlands. You’ll explore the estuaries (where the river meets the sea) and get an up-close look at the small creatures that call this environment home.

Join your NPWS guide at low tide and venture along the boardwalk and down onto the sand. Here you’ll explore a complex mangrove ecosystem that’s teeming with life. Play a fun game of boardwalk bingo as you discover the variety of creatures that live in the estuaries and different tidal zones.

Remember to wear enclosed shoes that are okay to get muddy.
