Bring a torch and join our National Parks Discovery Ranger for a spotlight tour under the stars in Katoomba. Discover amazing creatures of the night like owls, possums, and microbats on this easy 2hr tour.

When

Thursday 17 and 24 April, Friday 25 April, Saturday 31 May and 28 June, Thursday 10 and 17 July and Saturday 2 August 2025, 6pm to 8pm. Meet at 5.45pm.

Saturday 6 September 2025, 6.30pm to 8.30pm. Meet at 6.15pm.

Price

Adult/child (5 to 12 years) $20 per person. Family $65 for 2 adults and 2 children. Children must be accompanied by an adult.

Get ready to tip-toe down the track under moonlit gum trees and learn more about the wonderful nocturnal animals that live in the Blue Mountains. We may come across owls, possums, sugar gliders and little microbats, as they emerge from their homes for their night time activities.

Come prepared with your own torch, warm clothing, comfortable shoes and a sense of adventure.
