Warrumbungle National Park is renowned for its glittering, clear night skies. You’ll see them through the lenses of two 8” dobsonian telescopes and binoculars.
An experienced National Parks ranger will take you on a journey through the southern sky, pointing out many marvellous wonders using binoculars and telescopes. You’ll learn about the fundamentals of constellation identification and night sky mapping. Even if the weather is bad, there’ll still be a lot to find out about the night sky.
Bring a torch and please remember to wear warm clothing as the nights can get very cold in Warrumbungle National Park.
