Come along on this free guided tour at Castlereagh Nature Reserve, which is part of the critically endangered Cumberland Plain in Western Sydney. We'll explore the plants and animals that call this special place home.

Join this 2hr tour to learn about the amazing reptiles and frogs that call this special place home. You might see lace monitors, blue tongued lizards and green tree frogs. Find out about each animal and why they’re so important in this complex ecosystem.
You’ll also learn about important conservation programs in the critically endangered Cumberland Plain Woodland. You’ll discover how you can help to look after this threatened ecological community.
Castlereagh Nature Reserve protects some of the largest and most ecologically intact remnants of the extensive woodlands that once covered the Cumberland Plain and dominated Western Sydney.
Don’t forget to bring water, wear sun protection and enclosed shoes. You can also bring your own torch.
