Tweed Estuary Nature Reserve was created in March 1999. It covers an area of 59ha. View the detailed park and fire management documents.
The 4-day, 39km Gidjuum Gulganyi Walk will open in early 2025. Some sections of the track are open now for you to enjoy as day walks. We've also opened 2 walk-in campgrounds so adventurous campers can experience what the full multi-day walk will offer in 2025.
Mebbin National Park is a World Heritage-listed park with great bushwalking, picnicking, camping, bike or horse riding, close to Murwillumbah and Tweed Heads.
