Closed areas: Willandra Campgrounds CLOSED

Willandra National Park is OPEN to visitors. 

However, in the interest of visitor safety we will need to keep some areas of the park CLOSED, until repairs have been completed and those areas are deemed accessible and safe. 

Areas that will remain CLOSED for camping include: 

  • Willandra Campground 
  • Men's Quarters Accommodation 
  • Willandra Cottage Accommodation
  • Nilla Yinnagalang Billana Walking Track - parts of this track will be closed due to safety. 

Facilities available: 

  • Toilet in the Willandra Campground, 100m from the Willandra Group Campground.

Willandra National Park is closed from 8am, Saturday 10 May to 11:59pm, Monday 12 May 2025 for a ground shooting feral animal control operation.

Do not enter the national park. Penalties apply for non-compliance. For more information, contact the NPWS Griffith office on 02 6966 8100.
