- There are 2 long asphalt carparks that run the length of the lawn and picnic area on either side of Broken Head Reserve Road, including 2 accessible parking spots on the beach-side of the carpark.
- Please note that this is paid parking.
- Bus parking is not available.

There are no rubbish bins at this venue. Please take all waste with you when you go and leave the area clean and tidy. There may be a fee if significant cleaning is required.

Step-free access
- The lawn is flat and step-free.
- There are no pathways in the area that you can hire for ceremonies, but the nearby picnic area has a concrete path that runs past the toilets, and hard-packed ground pathways that lead to the beach.
- To reach other parts of the lawn and picnic area, including some of the shelters and tables, you'll need to cross over flat grass.

Broken Head lawn is flat and step-free, but there are no pathways. From the carpark, you'll need to cross over short wooden platform sections and flat grass to reach the lawn.
The picnic area next to the lawn has the following accessible facilities:
- 2 accessible parking spaces on the beach-side of the asphalt carpark
- Accessible flush toilets, set at the end of a concrete path
- Bench seats for resting
There are also picnic tables, shelters and barbecue facilities at the picnic area - you'll need to cross over flat grass to reach them.

- You may bring 1 bottle of wine or champagne for every 4 guests

Plant materials and flowers
You may bring flower arrangements containing no seed material. A florist can arrange this for you on request. Artificial or silk flowers are preferred.

Commercial photography and video, including drone use, may be permitted on application. You’ll need a small-scale photographer and wedding filming license.
Photography is included in the booking fee for the same location. If photographer is at another location, a booking will need to be made for that location.
Power, lighting and amplified sounds
Non-amplified music like a string duo, trio or quartet is permitted at this venue.
Prohibited
Balloons, plant materials and animals are not permitted, including:
- Decorations consisting of flowers or plant materials that contain seeds or vines and exotic plant materials
- Throwing rice or petals
- Confetti, rice, petals or streamers
- Balloons
- Candles or open flames
Horse-drawn carriages are not permitted at this venue.
Tents, marquees and banners are not permitted. Please do not put up signage or cordon off structures or areas at Broken Head lawn.
