Gentle hills: The walk is mostly flat with gentle hills. There are some places with steeper slopes:
- At the start of Lyrebird link track there's a ramp with handrails down to the rainforest floor, which is steeper than the rest of the track.
- The section where Satinbird stroll leads to The Glade picnic area is moderately steep.
Quality of path
Formed track: The track varies from 1m to 2m wide, and is mostly sealed bitumen with some sections of fibre-reinforced plastic boardwalk and hard-packed ground. Crystal Showers Falls walk has a high quality surface suitable for prams and strollers with large wheels.
Steps
Occasional steps: Most of this track is step-free, but there are steps near Tristania Falls.
