On entering Cecil Hoskins Nature Reserve, locate the start of the walking track.

Parking

Parking is available in grass carparks at Cecil Hoskins picnic area where this walk begins. It can be a busy place on the weekend, so parking might be limited.

The nearest toilets are council-owned accessible and ambulant toilets at the carpark on Cecil Hoskins Access Road.

Weir View walking track is 4m-wide, step-free and flat, but there are some sections where people with reduced mobility may need assistance:

  • The track surface is grass mixed with hard-packed ground. Assistance may be required across this surface.
  • There's a locked vehicle gate around halfway along the track. The gap around the gate may not be wide enough for wheelchair users, prams or mobility scooters.

There are bench seats for resting at the lake towards the middle of the track and at the viewing platform at the end of the track. The nearest toilets are council-owned accessible and ambulant toilets at the carpark on Cecil Hoskins Access Road.
