Closed areas: Mount Canobolas Road to Summit closed due to snow

Mount Canobolas State Conservation Area's main road to the summit are closed to vehicles from Sunday 3pm, 14 July 2024 until further notice due to snow and fallen timber.

The following roads and entry points to the park are closed to vehicles:

  • The gate past the junction of Mount Canobolas road and Towac Way 

Penalties apply for non-compliance.

The remainder of the conservation area and visitor carpark areas remain open to vehicles.

These closed roads to do restrict pedestrian access however walking tracks are slippery due to snow.
