Heavy rainfall and flooding combined with damaging winds caused by Ex-Tropical Cyclone Alfred are expected across northern NSW over the next few days. Most national parks in northern NSW including campgrounds and day use areas will be closed for safety.

Closed areas: Yadboro Road Closure

Road maintenance works will commence on Yadboro Road from 5th March and will take approximately 2 weeks to complete.

Road closure will occur between Armours Creek crossing and Clyde River crossing at Yadboro. It will be open during the evenings for vehicle access.

Long Gully - Visitors must access Long Gully camping area and day use area via Clyde Ridge Road, Mares Hill Road and the Western Distributor Road from Milton / Ulladulla, this route will add approximately 20 min  / 19 klms to your trip. 

Public access to Pigeon House Mountain Didthul will not be impacted.

  • Morton National Park is always open but may have to close at times due to poor weather or fire danger.

    Parts of the south-eastern area of this park were once used for military training and may contain unexploded artillery shells. These areas have restrictions in place for your safety.

  • Park entry fees: 

    Fitzroy Falls: $4 per vehicle per day. Bundanoon area: $8 per vehicle per day. The park has pay machines - cash and cards accepted.
