Other planned events: Road Closure - The Wool Track - 1 September through to mid December
Cobar Council Public Notice
Road Closure – The Wool Track (Between Bloomfield Rd & Belarabon Rd)
Please be advised that The Wool Track, between Bloomfield Road and Belarabon Road, will be closed to all traffic from Monday, 1st September to Friday, 19th December 2025.
The closure will allow Cobar Council to carry out important upgrade and sealing works on this section of road.
The works are intended to improve safety for workers, reduce construction costs, and shorten the overall project timeline.
Detours will be in place, with signs directing traffic via Belarabon Road and Developmental Road/Bloomfield Road.
Emergency Services will be exempt from the road closure, and appropriate signage will be in place at the closure points to clearly indicate this exemption.
For further information, please contact Cobar Council’s Director of Engineering Services on 02 6836 5888.
