The following walking tracks are closed until 30 June 2025 due to extensive damage caused by ex-tropical cyclone Alfred:
- Parts of Wonga walk - Tristania Falls section
- Red Cedar Falls walking track
- Slingsby trail and Syndicate Ridge track
Some sections of Wonga Walk remain open including:
- Lyrebird Link to the Glade
- The Glade to Crystal Showers Falls
- Crystal Showers Falls to Hardwood lookout

The following campground and picnic area is closed until Friday 2 May due to damage caused by ex-tropical cyclone Alfred:
- Cod Hole campground and picnic area, Nymboi-Binderay National Park

Slingsbys trail is closed until further notice due to severe flooding causing damage to infrastructure (bridge).
The western part of Syndicate walking track is closed from Tuesday 16 January 2024 until further notice. NPWS staff are working to assess the damage and repair options. The area will reopen when safe.
