Applies from Mon 12 Aug 2024, 6.00am to Fri 23 Aug 2024, 6.00pm. Last reviewed: Mon 15 Jul 2024, 8.20am The NSW National Parks and Wildlife Service (NPWS) will be conducting aerial shooting operations in the lower Snowy River valley, within the Byadbo and Pilot Wilderness Areas, between Monday 12th and Friday 23rd August 2024 inclusive. All visitor areas and campground within the Lower Snowy area will be closed during this period, including: Wallace Craigie lookout Tongaroo/Jacobs River campground Halfway Flat campground No Name day use area Moyangul/Pinch River campground Nine Mile campground Jacks lookout Running Waters campground Willis campground Closure notices will be placed at all visitor areas and relevant access points including the NSW/Victorian border. Penalties apply for non-compliance. The Barry Way will remain open for through traffic to Victoria for the duration of the program. Road users may experience short delays. We appreciate your patience while this important work is carried out.
