Muogamarra open season 2024

Muogamarra Nature Reserve is open for only 6 weeks, from Saturday 17 August to Sunday 22 September 2024. In 2024, Muogamarra Nature Reserve celebrates its 90th year open to the public. Located just north of Sydney, near Cowan, it's perfect for a weekend day trip.

The reserve is a paradise of rare native wildflowers. Enjoy expansive views of Bar, Milson and Spectacle islands, Berowra Creek and the Hawkesbury River. Join a guided walk to Peats Bight, Bird Gully, Lloyd Trig and Deerubbin.

Remember to book online before you arrive. You can only visit if you've booked a guided or self-guided tour in advance.

Muogamarra Bird Gully walk

SOLD OUT. Walk 3.5km along Bird Gully track around the edge of a hanging swamp in Muogamarra Nature Reserve, near Cowan. Bring your camera. You'll want to photograph the gorgeous flowers in this amazing reserve.

September tour dates: Every Saturday and Sunday from Sunday 1 September to Sunday 22 September 2024. And Monday 2 September, Monday 9 September and Friday 20 September 2024.
