Getting there and parking
To get there:
- Drive 35km southwest of Nowra along Braidwood Road
- Turn left onto Wandean Road and drive 3km
- Turn right onto Jerrawangala Lookout Road and drive 1km to the lookout carpark

Parking
Parking is available in a flat gravel carpark where the elevated walkway starts. The carpark is not suitable for larger buses.
Best times to visit
There are lots of great things waiting for you in Jerrawangala National Park. Here are some of the highlights.
Autumn
Make the most of the cooler weather to walk along one of the park's more challenging trails, such as Butterbush trail, to the escarpment edge.
Spring
Take a drive along Yarran Road through the striking forests and soak in the wonderful wildflower displays in the surrounding open fields.
Summer
Get up early to enjoy sunrise from Jerrawangala lookout, where you'll enjoy clear, crystal views all out along the coast and hinterland.

Carpark
Step-free access
From the carpark, there's a 65m fibreglass elevated walkway that leads to the lookout platform. The walkway is 2m wide and has handrails along its length.

There's a bench seat along the elevated walkway, a short distance from the carpark.

Disability access level - easy
- Jerrawangala lookout is flat and step-free
- There's a 65m-long, 2m-wide elevated fibre-reinforced polymer mesh walkway that leads from the carpark to the lookout platform. The walkway has handrails.
- There's a bench seat a short distance from the carpark where you can rest.
- The carpark is flat gravel. Assistance may be required to traverse over this surface.
- The picnic table at the carpark has fixed bench seats on all sides and is not accessible.

Pets and domestic animals (other than certified assistance animals) are not permitted. Find out which regional parks allow dog walking and see the pets in parks policy for more information.
