Getting there and parking
Bald Hill lookout is a 3km drive from the Hill End town centre. From Beyers Avenue, take Lees Lane out past description the Glendora camping area. Follow the signs to the Bald Hill lookout as you travel through the bushland of the Hill End Common. The gravel road can be rough at times, so take care while driving.

Autumn
With sunny, dry days and crisp evenings, it's a great time of year for a camping holiday at Hill End – head to the Village campground or the larger Glendora campground. You could even sign up as a campground host.

Bald Hill lookout is flat and step-free, but there are no pathways.
You can see the view directly from the carpark, but to get further along the lookout, you'll have to cross over hard-packed ground which can be rocky in parts.

There's a timber bench seat at the lookout where you can rest and enjoy the view.

You can walk your dog on-lead at this location. See other regional parks in NSW that have dog walking areas.
- You will need to keep your dog on a leash at all times and remember to pick up after them.
- Dangerous dogs and restricted breed dogs as defined under the Companion Animals Act must be muzzled at all times.
- Dogs are not allowed within 10m of barbecues or picnic tables.
