Getting there and parking
Adams lookout is in the northern precinct of Bungonia National Park. To get there:
- From Bungonia follow Lookdown Road to the park entrance
- Drive past the park office for approximately 300m
- Turn left into Adams lookout Road (unsealed) and follow to the end.
- The lookout is an easy 200m walk from here.

Parking is available in gravel carparks at Adams lookout, including 1 designated accessible parking space.

Autumn
After the heat of summer has subsided, take advantage of the milder weather for hiking in the park.
Spring
Enjoy bushwalking in the comfortable temperatures of this time of year when the wildflowers are at their finest. Late in the season, the stands of brittle gum become extremely photogenic as their white trunks turn pink.
Winter
Deeper exploration of caves is possible when their carbon dioxide levels reduce in winter as the warm air from within rises and the caves ‘breathe'.

Step-free access
- There's a step-free path that leads from the carpark to the lookout.
- The path starts off as paved and then becomes a mesh walkway as you get closer to the lookout platform. Parts of the path have handrails.
- There are 2 lookout platforms - one has step-free access, the other is down a set of metal mesh steps.

Adams lookout is flat and mostly step-free, with the following accessible facilities:
- Paved pathways that lead from the carpark to the toilets, picnic tables and towards the lookout
- A metal mesh walkway with handrails that leads to the lookout platform
- 2 bench seats for resting
- An accessible non-flush toilet
- An accessible parking space
There are 2 lookout platforms - first platform is step-free, but the second platform is down a set of metal mesh steps and is not wheelchair accessible.
