Getting there and parking

Green Cape lookout is in the southern precinct of Beowa National Park. To get there:

Travel 18km south of Eden along Princes Highway, then turn left on Edrom Road for 6km.
Turn right onto unsealed Green Cape Road and follow the road to the end.

Autumn

Camp at Bittangabee Beach campground and see lyrebirds performing their characteristic dance and tail display.

Spring

Visit Green Cape Lighthouse or Boyds Tower to spot whales migrating south to their Antarctic feeding grounds - you might even see females with young calves.

Summer

Plan a camping trip to Saltwater Creek - to enjoy the lagoons and beautiful surf beach.

Winter

Take the Light to Light walk when it's nice and cool and the banksias are in bloom.

Step-free access

The lookout is step-free, with a fibre-reinforced polymer mesh pathway that leads from the road to the lookout platform. The path has gentle slopes and handrails at points.

Seats and resting points

There's a bench seat set along a gravel driveway towards the end of Green Cape Road, near the lighthouse.

Green Cape lookout has the following accessible facilities:

There's step-free access to the lookout along a fibre-reinforced polymer mesh pathway. The path has gentle slopes and handrails at points along its length.
There's an accessible parking space in the carpark.
There's a bench seat for resting that's set along a gravel driveway towards the end of Green Cape Road, near the lighthouse.

There are toilets near Green Cape Lightstation Keepers' Cottages but the toilets are not accessible or ambulant.
