Spring
It's a great time for a camping trip when the weather is a bit cooler and the park is springing to life after the sleepy winter.

Cool off after a hot day of exploring in the park's rivers or lakes.
Winter
Throw in your line below Weir 32 on the Darling river – you might catch a golden perch. You'll need a current NSW recreational fishing licence though, and you must abide by bag limits and protected species fishing laws.

Facilities
Bore water is available in the Woolshed carpark. It is recommended you boil it for 3 minutes before drinking.
Toilets
Accessible flush toilets are located at the nearby shearers quarters. The toilets include change facilities for parents and carers.

There are hot showers at the shearers quarters next door. These showers are open both to the public and the guests staying at the shearers quarters.

Step-free access
- The main entrance to the woolshed is on ground-level and can be reached along a short, paved pathway. There's also a second entrance to the woolshed that's up a steep, timber ramp.
- To get to either entrance, you'll need to cross over flat, hard-packed ground that may be sandy in parts and have clumps of vegetation.
- The area around the woolshed has hard-packed ground paths that lead to the carpark and the visitor centre next door.

- The main entrance is on ground-level and can be reached along a short, paved pathway.
- There's also a second entrance to the woolshed that's up a steep, timber ramp.
- To get to either entrance, you'll need to cross over flat, hard-packed ground that may be sandy in parts and have clumps of vegetation.
The area around the woolshed is flat and step-free, with hard-packed ground paths that lead to the carpark and the visitor centre next door.
The nearby shearers quarters has accessible toilets with a change facility for parents and carers as well as accessible hot showers. The amenities are for both public use and use by the guests at the shearers quarters.

Kinchega National Park is always open but may have to close at times due to poor weather or fire danger.
