Macquarie Marshes Nature Reserve and Ginghet Nature Reserve are closed from 6am, Saturday 19 October to 9pm, Monday 21st October 2024 for an aerial pest control operation. 

If you are in the area during this period, you may hear low flying helicopters and shooting.

The program is being conducted to reduce the impact of feral animals on the reserve and surrounding properties by reducing overall pest numbers.
