Safety alerts: Access to Swifts Creek campground via Picnic Point Road only
Please be advised that Swifts Creek Road is currently closed due to the impact caused by flooding. To access Swifts Creek campground please use Picnic Point Road and follow Narrows Road into Murray Valley National Park - Moira.

Fire bans: NSW NPWS Riverina Area - Solid Fuel Fire Ban (SFFB) Commences
A park fire ban is in place in this park and remains in effect unless otherwise extended or removed. During park fire ban periods, all campfire and solid fuel (wood, heat beads, charcoal, briquettes, hexamine) barbecues and stoves are prohibited. Gas and electric barbecues and cookers are permitted as long as:
- They're under direct control of an adult
- The ground within 2m of the barbecue is cleared of all flammable materials
- There's an adequate supply of water (minimum of a bucket)

Closed areas: Closures due to current flooding event - Murray Valley National & Regional Park
Due to a current flooding event occurring in the forest the following roads are currently closed:
- Toupna Crossing Road, and
- The bypass at Murphys Bridge Road
The following road has water over it, however is currently accessible. This road may end up being closed in the coming days:
- Fishermans Bend Road
Please also note that Clay Island Road is also inaccessible and therefore the following campgrounds are closed within the Milllewa Campgrounds - Regional Park:
- Brown Bottle Bend
- Clay Island
- Lower Sandy
- Chimney Creek
- Ash Tree
- Snows
- Deadwood
