Getting there and parking
Pinch River campground is in the southern (Lower Snowy) precinct of Kosciuszko National Park. To get there:
From Snowy Region Visitor Centre:
- Drive 1.5km to the Barry Way turn-off
- Turn left on Barry Way and drive 58.4km south along Barry Way
- Turn right into Pinch River campground (just before Pinch River Bridge).

Check the weather before you set out as the road to this campground can become boggy when it rains.

Parking
The campground doesn't have a formal carpark, but you can park on the hard-packed ground loop road that leads to the campground and the picnic area.

Toilets
There are 2 accessible non-flush toilets. One is at the campground, west of the Barry Way, and the other is at the picnic area east of the Barry Way. Both toilets can be reached along short gravel pathways.

There are picnic tables at various points throughout the campground and picnic area – some are set on concrete slabs and others are set directly into the ground.
There's an accessible, barrier-free picnic table under a shelter in the picnic area on the eastern side of the Barry Way.

Carpark
Step-free access
The campground is mostly flat and step-free, but there are no pathways. You'll need to cross over hard-packed ground and grass to reach the campsites and facilities.
You can reach the Snowy River from the picnic area on the eastern side of the Barry Way along a hard-packed ground access path. The path has 16 steps – people with reduced mobility may need assistance in this area.

Pinch River campground is mostly flat and step-free, but there are no pathways. You'll need to cross over grass and hard-packed ground to get around the campground.
Access to Pinch River is via a sloping riverbank and access to the Snowy River is along a hard-packed ground pathway with 16 steps. People with reduced mobility may need assistance in these areas.
The campground has some accessible facilities including:
- 2 accessible non-flush toilets set along gravel pathways. One is in the campground, west of the Barry Way, and the other is in the picnic area, east of the Barry Way
- An accessible picnic table in the picnic area, east of the Barry Way

Fishing
A current NSW recreational fishing licence is required when fishing in all waters.
Prohibited
Drones
Flying a drone for recreational purposes is prohibited in this area. Drones may affect public enjoyment, safety and privacy, interfere with park operations, or pose a threat to wildlife. See the Drones in Parks policy.
This area may be a declared Drone Exclusion Zone, or may be subject to Civil Aviation Safety Authority (CASA) rules for flying near airports, aerodromes and helicopter landing sites. See CASA's Drone Flyer Rules.
Commercial filming and photography
Commercial filming or photography is prohibited without prior consent. You must apply for permission and contact the local office.
Pets

NSW national parks are no smoking areas.
