Floods and park closures

For safety, most national parks and reserves from the QLD/NSW border to the southern end of the Coffs Coast remain closed until further notice due to heavy rainfall, flooding and damaging winds caused by Ex-Tropical Cyclone Alfred. NPWS is undertaking damage assessments before reopening these areas.

  1. Please check alerts for park closures. Do not enter closed areas.
  2. Check NSW SES website for up-to-date advice on floods and storms.
