Overview

Edmondson Regional Park was created in March 2015. It covers an area of 48ha. View the detailed park and fire management documents.

Formerly used as a military training facility, Edmondson Regional Park has plenty to explore with great future plans. A key feature of the reserve is its remnant strands of Cumberland Plain Woodland, a critically endangered ecological community.

The park provides habitat for threatened animal species including the endangered Cumberland plain land snail. Take a break from urban settings and go bushwalking, with no shortage of fire trails to choose from. Be sure to have a rest in the picnic area and immerse yourself into the natural forest surrounds.

Reporting illegal dumping

It's illegal to dump rubbish, household waste, green waste, construction waste, tyres, or vehicles in NSW national parks and reserves. You can help by reporting it anonymously. If you see illegal waste that has been dumped, or is in the process of being dumped, please take a photo and report it through the Report Illegal Dumping online form, or phone 131 555.

These maps give a basic overview of park attractions and facilities, and may not be detailed enough for some activities. We recommend that you buy a topographic map before you go exploring.
