Overview

Weetalibah Nature Reserve was created in August 1968. It covers an area of 2146ha. View the detailed park and fire management documents.

Weetalibah Nature Reserve supports narrow leafed iron bark-white cypress, broad leafed iron bark and tumbledown gum. Mugga iron bark and red stringy bark are also present. The reserve is floristically similar to some areas of the Pilliga Scrub.

The primary management objective of this reserve is to conserve a remnant of this once widely spread habitat, and access, other than for monitoring and scientific research, is discouraged.
