Quanda Nature Reserve
Overview
Quanda Nature Reserve was created in January 1963. It covers an area of 4784ha. View the detailed park and fire management documents.
Quanda Nature Reserve is dominated by green mallee with some poplar box. Originally the Reserve was conserved as malleefowl habitat. It has since become a remnant surrounded by cleared lands.
The reserve is managed to maintain and optimise the habitat values for resident flora and fauna and to provide opportunities for environmental monitoring and research.
