Morrisons Lake Nature Reserve
Overview
Morrisons Lake Nature Reserve was created in January 1985. It covers an area of 312ha. View the detailed park and fire management documents.
Morrison's Lake is a terminal drainage basin on Willandra Creek. The majority of the reserve is open water. This is surrounded by small areas of black box, river cooba, river red gum and lignum on flooding areas. Chenopod grasslands and belah-western rosewood woodlands are present on higher ground.
The reserve provides roosting and breeding sites for a number of waterbirds.
