Meet your NSW Nationals Parks guide at Narooma Bar Rocks to see Australian and New Zealand fur seals in the wild. You’ll watch as they navigate the ocean and coastline with ease. Your guide will give you invaluable insight into the daily lives of these marine mammals. You’ll learn how these amazing animals survive extreme temperatures, travel great distances and avoid predators.

As you explore further, you'll get an insight into the local history, geology and culture of the area.

Narooma Bar Rock Lookout is also the perfect vantage point to spot whales during their spring migration. With a bit of patience and luck during the months of mid-September to November, you could witness majestic humpback whales performing stunning displays of power and agility as they pass by the coast. You’ll also learn how to identify different types of whales, including the endangered southern right whale.

Don’t forget to bring binoculars and wear weather-appropriate clothing.
