Join this exciting tour and get close to nature at Bungo Beach near Eden these school holidays. You’ll have lots of fun and learn new skills in hands on activities.

Tour dates: Monday 13 January and 20 January 2025.

Monday 14 April, Tuesday 15 July and Friday 3 October 2025.

Tour times: 9am to 11am and 12pm to 2pm.

You’ll love this fun-filled and family-friendly tour that brings explorers between 5 and 16 years old closer to nature.

Become a Junior Ranger for the day and take part in a scavenger hunt and use clues to learn about Australia’s fascinating natural world. Gain new skills, learn about our native animals and get up close to nature while exploring our beautiful beaches and coastal bush habitat.

You’ll learn how to use a map and compass in an orienteering activity as you discover the natural treasures of Bungo Beach and surrounds. Get creative and design a piece of nature art using beach and bush materials or continue exploring this beautiful natural setting.

Your guide will also have a variety of interesting finds to share as well such as a real (taxidermy) goanna, penguin, baby wombat or echidna! They will have plenty more treasures to share as well.

Getting there and parking

From Eden:

  • Drive 5km south on the Princes Highway.
  • Turn left on Quarantine Bay Road.
  • Take first left at the Eden Amateur Fishing Club and park in the unsealed gravel carpark. 

Parking

Free parking is available next to the Amateur Eden Fishing Club in the gravel carpark.
