Blue Mountains Heritage Centre Theatrette, near Blackheath, is a great place to stop and find out what’s on offer in the Blue Mountains. It’s also an ideal venue hire option, providing a unique glimpse of this beautiful World Heritage Area.
Perfect for groups and completely wheelchair-accessible, the centre also hosts the permanent ‘Outside In’ exhibition. Learn about the local Aboriginal culture, plants and animals, and discover the history that make Blue Mountains National Park one of Australia’s most popular and famous destinations.
Wheelchair-accessible Fairfax Heritage walking track starts here and leads to the picnic area, with scenic views of nearby Govetts Leap lookout – a perfect spot for photo opportunities. Enjoy the lookouts with stunning waterfall views over Grose Valley and be treated to bursts of colour from the wildflowers if you visit in summer.
