Closed areas: Scutts Hut and Kurrawonga Falls CLOSED

Scutts Hut and Kurrawonga Falls walk is CLOSED due to fire trail maintenance, until further notice. 

Visitors can still access the Kaputar Plateau walk via Rocky Plateau and Scutts Hut fire trail loop.

Closed areas: Dawsons Spring campground CLOSED due to upgrades

Dawsons Spring campground will be CLOSED from Monday 20 May until Monday 17 June 2024 due to closure of the amenities block for renovations. 

Dawsons Spring picnic areas and BBQs will remain open.

As an alternative, visitors are encouraged to camp at Bark Hut campground.

This closure may be extended and any extension will be posted as soon as possible.

The Governor (Corrunbral Borawah) summit walking track is closed until further notice due to elevated track damage. 

The Governor lookout walking track (from carpark to lookout platform) remains open.
